PA Certification in Education or related field or evidence of being Highly Qualified as a Paraprofessional. To be qualified for this position you must possess an understanding of and be trained to work with special needs students. Knowledge of sign language and experience working with students who have multiple disabilities including deaf/blind strongly preferred. Ability to track and monitor student progress using prescribed process; ability to follow specific directions consistently and completely; must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds when student needs dictate. Knowledge of first aide and CPR a plus. Applicants must have Act 34 and 151 clearances and FBI registration number.
