PA Certification as a Reading Specialist, K-12; 3-5 years of experience preferred; middle school experience preferred.   Selected candidate will provide instruction and support to increase literacy achievement for all students; will provide small-group instruction based on students’ literacy needs; will collaborate with students’ teacher(s) to ensure that on-going instruction meets students’ individual literacy needs; will possess knowledge of and experience with the PA Core Standards and the ILA Reading Specialist/Literacy Coach Standards.

Good standing relative to Act 48 credits.  Applicants must have Act 34 and Act 151 clearances and FBI registration number.

This is an LTS position from January 2020 to end of the academic year -June 2020.
