Qualified applicant must be proficient in knowledge of Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook; must successfully complete LMSD qualifying tests. Applicant must be able to work well in a team setting; possess ability to set priorities and multi-task to complete projects on time. Demonstrated attention to detail. Applicant must have Act 34 and 151 clearances and FBI registration number. Clearances must be less than one year old.
Duties include but are not limited to: maintaining and updating Transportation contractor’s credentials and clearances; maintain District staff transportation lists; manage field/sports trip computer program and cost projections; manage Transportation employment database; support new school year preparation; maintain route/staff assignment database; assist and support department training programs and state training paperwork; knowledge and experience with BusBoss, Zonar and other Transportation software; communicate with parents, schools and vendors when needed.
This is a 12 month position located in the Transportation Office and will support the Safety Department and is eligible for LMSD benefits package.
